Yoga in candlelight
The light from the flickering candles danced softly across the walls of the small, cozy room. Emma sat in the middle of her yoga mat, surrounded by the soothing scent of lavender and lemon. It was a Tuesday afternoon, warm and inviting sunshine through the large window. Emma had created yoga as a retreat to leave the stress of everyday life behind her. But something was different today. When Jonas, her long-time boyfriend, opened the door, an unusual tension flowed into the room.
His gaze was intense as he sat down on the mat next to her. “Do we need a new challenge?” he asked with a mischievous smile. Emma felt a tingling in her stomach. They had practiced together many times, but the chemical attraction between them had never been completely ignored. As they took their first breaths in yoga, the charged atmosphere increased.
The yoga exercises became more complicated, their bodies came closer, hands gently stroking their legs as they tried to keep their balance. The fragile silence was palpable, and a moment of deep vision blossomed between them. When they finally remained in the position of the Cobra, Emma dared to lean towards him. Their breath mixed as they wondered what that moment meant — now.
